Quality Management

Continuous improvement of processes and products

Committed to the continuous improvement of its processes and products, IBMP is guided by a Quality Management System (QMS) that ensures the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices for medical products and in vitro diagnosis recommended by the National Sanitary Surveillance Agency (Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária – Anvisa).

In 2011, IBMP was certified by Anvisa in Good Manufacturing Practices and was qualified as an official supplier for Bio-Manguinhos/Fiocruz. IBMP’s processes are periodically evaluated by different audit teams, in order to maintain the condition of meeting the Quality criteria.

Since 2009, IBMP has the Biosafety Quality Certificate with the National Technical Biosafety Commission (Comissão Técnica Nacional de Biossegurança – CTNBio). This certificate validates the areas of the Institute intended for the handling of genetically modified micro-organisms (GMOs) and the procedures adopted for safety and waste disposal.

IBMP’s Quality Policy consists of providing technological solutions and high-quality products to meet Health demands, also seeking to fully meet customer satisfaction.
