Molecular Biology Institute of Paraná (IBMP)
The Molecular Biology Institute of Paraná (IBMP) was created in 1999 by a partnership between Oswaldo Cruz Foundation (Fiocruz) and the State Government of Paraná, with the initial purpose of deploying the installation of Fiocruz in the State of Paraná. It operates in technological development, innovation and industrial production of solutions for health, with emphasis on the Brazilian Public Health System (Sistema Único de Saúde – SUS). Throughout its history, IBMP has established itself as a Scientific and Technological Institution (Instituição Científica e Tecnológica – ICT), collaborating with the development of Science and Technology in the country and supplying the public health network with safe and quality products.

and Production Plant
The infrastructure for production and development of Health Supplies consecrates the performance of the Molecular Biology Institute of Paraná (IBMP) in the Economic and Industrial Health Complex, with a production area of 2,200m² certified in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). IBMP’s scientific, technological and innovation capacity is supported not only by its laboratories and high-quality equipment but also by highly qualified human resources in Management, Production, Quality, Technological Development, and Innovation in Health, with about 120 employees, including more than 50 Masters and PhDs.
